MID-SOLES AND SOLES

Midsoles are made from heavy duty leather laminated to a layer of cushioning rubber. The mid-sole is what your foot stands on. Overtime the leather will mould to the shape of your foot plus leather keeps your feet cool and fresh.

RESOLING

All McKinlays shoes & boots can be resoled with an original patterned unit or we can use nearly any of the soles below on your footwear.

Our soles are made in a variety of shapes and materials to give performance and long life.  Having your McKinlays resoled is a great way to keep them in peak condition, shoes are normally resoled on the same day they arrive into the factory & we then courier them back to you. A full resole with the original sole pattern costs $75 + $10 freight to return them to you.

YANKEE	Cleated sole, commando style tread pattern, TPR Rubber.
CITY	Nitrile rubber, fine tread pattern, oil resistant, hard wearing.
TRACTOR (CAT)	Nitrile rubber, heavy duty sole, oil resistant, anti slip.
1118	Combination EVA & rubber, lightweight, great for comfort, oil resistant.
2005	TPR rubber, good grip, hardwearing.
2824	Nitrile rubber mixture, oil resistant, good grip and very heavy duty.
BEECH	TPR rubber, smooth profile with good grip.

Some soles will not fit all styles.

For "Custom Made" shoes we can incorporate your own orthotics and alter soles to suit, including lifts, wedges etc.
